“When we quiet our minds and listen to the wisdom of our bodies, it will tell us what we need to know.”
~ Ayurveda Principle
Malas, or prayer beads, are used in meditation practice to calm the mind using the tactile anchor of the beads. Most commonly the beads are used to track the repetition of a word or prayer. These mantras are often repeated in sync with the breath, uniting our minds and prana, bringing us back to the source of our being.
Come and learn how to make your own personal Mala necklace on March 22 from 2:30 – 4:00 pm. A materials list will be emailed when you register for the class, but not required if you would just like to watch and learn.
Malas are a fun way to express your creativity and deepen your yoga practice as every Mala is a unique expression of the individual and a work of art!
